FMJ

This silver plated bullet is a genuine FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) bullet, that was originally made to be fired by the AK47 assault rifle.   39mm refers to the cartridge length which was Warsaw Pact standard and is still used in the AK47 Kalashnikov automatic rifle.

AK47 bullet silver

The silver plated bullet is diamond engraved as shown. 7-62.com plate the entire bullet (including the lead base) with 925 sterling silver, thus offsetting the dangers of lead. We polish this ammunition before plating to make it as shiny as its NATO counterparts, but there will of course be minute blemishes and scratches as Warsaw Pact bullets are not as smooth as the NATO versions. Silver is more suitable for everyday wear than copper as it does not tarnish as quickly but it is not recomended for keyrings: The jacket of a real bullet is slightly ductile, if you hit it hard enough it will dent, and it will wear if subject to prolongued abrassion.

If selected when buying, a matching base ring and solid silver jump ring is attached to the base of your silver plated bullet. If the bullet is a gift, why not make it even more personal with an engraved presentation box for only £2
